take-that-week-9

Another week has passed by… How quick was it?  I still remember working on the Week 8 newsletter as if it was yesterday.

Now Week 9 is here!  Enjoy our events, especially this first one!

Laser skirmish!

There has been some major changes.

The world didn’t want saving during the afternoon—so it’s on at NIGHT (for better laser effects =P). This event will be with SUAnime, Parranoia, AnimeUTS, JAUWS and AnimeMQ—so the targets will be fiercely many!

Date - 8 May (Saturday)

Where - M9 Laser Skirmish, Darling Harbour

Time - 9.30pm laser skirmish game 1 begins

Meet -

6.30pm for dinner at Mizuya

9pm for game 1+

Cost -

Pay for what you eat

$10 per laser skirmish game (up to 3 games)

RSVP for dinner by emailing events@suanime.org.

RSVP is important as each laser skirmish game has the number of players capped! You will also be asked to reserve your spot with an advanced payment for your game. There are some options to RSVP:

  1. Come to the Tuesday and Wednesday screenings.
  2. Email our event director and find out to personally meet an exec.

You and friends can still attend without the RSVP—however, we cannot guarantee a spot  for you.

So suit up and let’s save the world at night, when the lasers are brighter…

Ordinary meeting

An ordinary meeting with SUAnime gives the opportunity for members to meet with the execs and discuss, plan, and give directions for club operations. It is your chance to pass on your brilliant ideas for events, competitions; and any other comments to make this club truly your own.

Some of the events that will be discussed are the AnimeSydney Christmas Party SUAnime is hosting and this rumored Pokemon Event!

When: Friday, 12nn—2pm

Where: Holme Building Reading Room (its up the stairs; there’s signs pointing the way).

For more information, contact president@suanime.org.
