Movie Marathon … part 2!

Sunday, July 4th, 2010

Kara no Kyoukai episodes 4 – 6 will be shown… though if you missed the first 3 you can still come for the following 3 reasons:

1. The chronology is absolutely not linear… nor circular … just crazy.

2. You’ll catch on what’s happening pretty quickly.

3. In reality, no one actually knows what’s going on with the first 3 episodes so you won’t be the only one utterly LOST but the music, animation, and acting is just amazing!

The final episode will likely be shown sometime during Week 1, Semester 2; depending on level of interest.

WHEN: 15 July, Thursday

TIME: 2 – 7 pm

WHERE: Reading Room (again) … so wear something warm.

COST: mainly for the food … we’ll be providing some but very welcome to BYO too and share.

SUAnime with the other anime clubs of Sydney presents an afternoon of battle skirmish; where we’re equipping you with laser guns to decimate the evil opposing team’s base and anyone else in the way! *ahem* And once you’re done saving the world or eradicating war (again), you can join your anime club in a celebratory dinner out and about the city!

Date - 8 May (Saturday)

Where – M9 Laser Skirmish, Darling Harbour

Time - 9.30pm laser skirmish game 1 begins

Meet – Outside M9 Laser Skirmish

6.30pm for dinner at Mizuya

9pm for game 1+

Cost –

Pay for what you eat

$10 per laser skirmish game (up to 3 games)

RSVP for dinner by emailing events@suanime.org.

RSVP is important as each laser skirmish game has the number of players capped! You will also be asked to reserve your spot with an advanced payment for your game. There are some options to RSVP:

  1. Come to the Tuesday and Wednesday screenings.
  2. Email our event director and find out to personally meet an exec.

You and friends can still attend without the RSVP—however, we cannot guarantee a spot  for you.

So suit up and let’s save the world at night, when the lasers are brighter…
