This is the major get-together where the elections for the new exec team for 2009/2010 are held! The sum of it is that ANY club member (that is you have signed up as a member some time during this year, which means you also have an ACCESS card) can nominate themselves or accept nominations for any exec position(s) AND you can vote in the elections of your fellow peers too! To nominate for or to find out more about a position send an email to personnel@suanime.org
WHEN: 6 – 9 pm, Friday 9th October
WHERE: Eastern Avenue Seminar Room 116
Â
We will also be discussing amendments to our constitution at the AGM. The constitution of the club states how we manage the club. The executive team is proposing the following amendments to the constitution to be discussed and possibly voted upon at the AGM:
Motion 1: To change the number of times to meet per semester for an ordinary meeting to every four (4) weeks. An ordinary meeting is the place where you as a member can discuss and help plan events etc of the club – to participate in the running of the club without necessarily being an exec! XD
Motion 2: To discuss the executive position, the Librarian, and its possible future role in the club. (I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t know there was even a Librarian exec – the librarian has been very, very quiet…! =P)
Â
 Hope to see you there!
