October!

So please come along for the fantastic free food!! *and to vote for
your favourite execs of course ^_<
Since a bunch of us will be moving on / graduating, it will be really
great if you can come along ad meet our newly voted execs of 2009, and
say goodbye to those retiring, so do please come to our AGM!!

Just a final reminder to anyone attending the Post-AGM dinner that it
is held on this SATURDAY 1st NOVEMBER- not straight after the AGM on
Thursday!! Those attending should have all received a confirmation
email last Friday/Saturday, but if you haven't, please email me ASAP!

By the way, this is the last Mewsletter of the year from Yours Truly,
so in spite of all the rants and inbox rampages I've been spewing out,
I want to thank you all for being a wonderful audience! Goodluck with

Everyone's snowed under with assessments, so just a recap of last week's news:

Our AGM is coming up, and what better way to promote it than with a FREE BBQ lunch!! Bring along your friends for some fantastic free food with the current execs, of whom you can ask questions about their roles and what they love about SUAnime ^_^

Post-AGM Dinner- just another friendly reminder that chibis should all have received the email about the Post-AGM dinner invitation. The deadline for RSVP for all chibis, candidates and execs is 5pm this Friday 24th Oct, so if I haven't heard from you by then, I will take it as unattending, ok ok!? If you are running for a position in our upcoming AGM but didn't receive this email about the dinner, send me a buzz on secretary@suanime.org, ne-ne!? ^o^

Hope you've had a swell long weekend! ^_^ First, a big thank you to those of you who turned up to our K&E last Thursday, it was great fun and hope you all enjoyed the night just as much as I did ^o^

First, welcome back to uni after the mid-semesters! Assessments will be due soon, so hope you all got some work done during the break! Just a short message from Yours Truly... We've got the AGM BBQ and meeting coming up on Thursday 30th October, in like, 4 weeks time! We've had quite a few interested people vying for some roles, but we really encourage more of you to consider becoming future execs! It's fun, it's free and best of all, looks good on your CV >_^ Read on to find out more!!

AGM BBQ- also held on Thursday 30th October (Wk 13) and it's absolutely free for SUAnime members, from 12-1pm, Manning Front Lawns. Bring your friends and rush in for a feast! If you're turning up to the AGM later that day, you might want to pop in for lunch, especially if you're unsure what some of the roles actually do in the club. Our current executives will be there for you to ask questions and show you the ropes on what to do on the day

AGM- held from 6-8pm at Eastern Avenue Seminar Room 116, come on in and vote for the best execs, or vote yourself in from a range of ALL our available positions, ranging from Secretary to Screenings, Personnel to Publicity, Webmaster and Treasury, Art Directors, Event Directors, Super Directors* and much much more!

At last it's the mid-semesters! Hooray!! Although for most of you
(myself including) it also means catching up on assessments that have
been put off by other assessments >_>

Nonetheless, a respite from uni to get some much needed Z's have
hopefully been good to you thus far!

First, I should announce that our K&E is held this Thursday! RSVP's
closed last Wednesday, so hopefully I'll be able to see most of you
who did RSVP there XD

On another note, we have our AGM coming up in a month's time (i.e.
